The 29th edition of the Ride Joburg cycle race, South Africa’s premier mass participation cycling event, will take place on Sunday, 22 November 2026.

For the first time in the event’s history, riders will cross the finish line on a world-class motorsport circuit. Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit’s legendary status brings a new level of prestige to Ride Joburg, offering participants the rare opportunity to complete their race on one of the most recognised racing venues in the country.

The final stretch of the 97 kilometre event will unfold inside the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, where riders will take on a lap before the finish, delivering a powerful and memorable end to the day. For many, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, riding the same tarmac that has hosted international motorsport icons.

The event team is currently finalising details around shorter distance offerings, which will be announced closer to the event date.
