THE GETAWAY ASCENT

Stage 1 of the Andorra Epic 2025 kicks off in La Massana, launching riders into a high-altitude challenge that blends tough climbs, iconic terrain, and fast descents. The route ascends to the Pal/Arinsal station and continues to the stage’s highest point, Collada de Muntaner (2,078 m), before plunging into thrilling descents, including a steep hike-a-bike section at Contrabandista Pass. A second brutal climb leads to a high-speed, technical finish through La Commençal Bike Park. With fan hotspots at Km 12 and 35, Stage 1 delivers a powerful opener—equal parts endurance test, technical showcase, and mountain racing spectacle.
