2026 Bucknell Cycling Classic

Welcome to the 2026 Bucknell Cycling Classic! We are excited to present an amazing early-season race in the heart of Central Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna River Valley. The race weekend consists of an individual time trial and road race on Saturday, and a criterium on Sunday morning. Despite our multiple races, this is not a stage race, and you can pick and choose the races you want to compete in (we recommend all three!). The team here at Bucknell University looks forward to welcoming racers to our home roads here in central Pennsylvania. We are conveniently located a couple hours drive from NYC, Philadelphia, and the D.C area, perfect for an easy trip for a weekend of great racing. The town of Lewisburg is host to many excellent accommodations and delicious food options. All races are 25 minutes from most lodging in town and the campus crit is just minutes away. All riders (collegiate and non-collegiate) are invited to come race and support collegiate cycling in the first road racing weekend of the Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference for 2026!

Collegiate fields are open only to full-time collegiate and high school students with valid USA Cycling licenses. Jerseys and bibs for all such riders must feature school names and/or logo or be generic blank kits; non-scholastic club and trade team kits are not permitted. USA Cycling licenses available for sale on-site. Consult the ECCC website at http://www.eccc-cycling.com for information on categories, eligibility, licensing, and other general questions.

 

Registration Fees:

  • Collegiate Individual Time Trial - $40

  • Collegiate Road Race - $55

  • Collegiate Criterium - $50

  • Non-Collegiate Individual Time Trial - $45

  • Non-Collegiate Road Race - $70

  • Non-Collegiate Criterium - $65

  • Intro Races - $45 (includes 1-day license)

 

There will be podiums/awards for each race, but no prize money

 

Pre-Registration is available on-line at BikeReg.com, where service charges might apply. Registrations not received before 5pm on March 19th will incur a $5 per rider per event late fee. ECCC Teams who have been approved may submit a Team Entry Spreadsheet (available upon email request) in lieu of BikeReg entry provided the team has opened an ECCC Debit Account. This spreadsheet must be sent to road@eccc-cycling.com and received by March 18th at 5pm in order to avoid a $5 late registration fee per rider per event.

 

Day-of registration is available for all events. Registration is located inside the Montour Preserve visitor center on Saturday, and inside the MacDonald Commons building on Sunday, with navigational signs from parking. Registration opens 1 hour before the start of the first scheduled race and ends 15 minutes before the start of each race. Day-of registrations will be subject to the $5 per rider per event late fee. Payments via credit or debit card will be subject to processing fees.

Promoter is not required to refund pre-registration in the event of an unforeseen cancellation.

Venue Notes

Please know that Montour Preserve has rules and regulations that all racers and attendees must follow.  Preserve website.

  • No pets allowed (except service animals)

  • No alcohol

  • Do not ride on the walking paths

  • No littering

 

Medical: A stand-by ambulance will be present for the road race and criterium. The nearest hospital for Saturday is Geisinger Medical Center, 100 N Academy Ave, Danville, PA 17822, +18002756401, and for Sunday is WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital, One Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA, (570) 522-2000.
