Gifford Road Race

This will be the 18th running of the popular event and this year, following a successful first edition in 2025, the return of the women’s race. Edinburgh Road Club are keen to kick start the road season in Scotland with this longstanding event as well as welcoming friends from beyond the border.

The E/1/2/3 race continues to be the opening round of the Scottish Alba Series. We were thrilled to have multiple international riders in 2025. Follow in the footsteps of some of Scotland’s Tour de France riders, Oscar Onley competed in the 2020 edition of the race.

The women’s race is part of the Scotia Series supported by Santini. We are committed to making the women’s race as inclusive as possible and this year we are pleased to be supporting the Scotia series, which is for all women racing in Scotland.
