Shortened from 133 km to 88.7 km after emergency services were redeployed to wildfires near Bordeaux. All the racing is in Paris: laps of the Champs-Élysées, the last three with the cobbled Rue Lepic climb of Montmartre, the final ascent 10.3 km from the line. Ceremony first, then chaos.

Official start town, but ceremonial only this year: the team presentation is in Thoiry, then riders transfer by bus and the racing begins on the Champs-Élysées.
