Gruissan → Font Romeu

From the Aude coast into the Pyrénées-Orientales, climbing to the first summit finish of the race. The road rises from the valley floor to the ski town of Font Romeu at over 1,900 metres, with the day's climbing concentrated in the final third and gradients that, though rarely severe, barely relent.
